A few weeks ago, our fellow citizen and cyclist, David Spranger, was struck by a speeding car and left for dead on his morning commute. (Read more here: Observer, Observer. Watch more here: WCNC, TWC, WSOC) Fortunately, CMPD was able to apprehend and charge the suspect. Now we’re asking the prosecutor to seek an appropriate penalty in this case and others like it.
